The embryo development – magic in 270 days

HumanEmbryoDevelopment

The development of embryo is the miracle of the miracles. Just imagine, within the above mentioned period out of one cell 200 billion comes out. That little embryo, which is barely visible under the microscope within that period grows up to half meter size.  Each process runs smoothly, step after step following the rules of nature, like everything in Universe.
First step: this is the period from impregnation to the end of second week. Second step includes the period of from two to eight week. During this period huge changes happen: embryo becomes human like and all significant organs of your baby start to form.
At the end of second step the development of the embryo can be called as baby. The third step is so called fetus (from the word of Latin origin) which start at the beginning of the third month and finishes with the birth of the baby. The most interesting thing is that the embryo starts its development from the spine which is pretty much the same as it is in the other types of livings. There is just few of differences between human being and the other livings. That fact gives opportunity for the doctors to keep up the development of the baby in the womb.  Only humans have 270 days of pregnancy, which is exactly 10 month on lunar calendar. Everything starts from the first week, which is considered as the beginning and going forward to the second – eight weeks (embryo developing period) and ends with the birth of the baby. As it was mentioned above the essential organs of your baby start to develop the skin and the main organs become human like during the embryo period. At the ninth week the embryo grows up to 40 mm and gets 5 grams weight.
