Blood type

Dissimilarity or difference of blood type between parents and baby may lead to Rhesus factor dispute and Rhesus factor incompatibility. Very often the dispute happens when one of the parents have 1st type of blood. The Rhesus factor incompatibility take place when female has negative Rhesus factor and male positive. If the Rhesus factor for both the same, it is ok.
The problem occurs when the positive Rhesus factor of baby that comes from father goes to mother. As a result natural immunological reaction the mother’s body generates antibodies that pass through the placenta and may cause the fetus anemia. But this does not mean that females with negative Rhesus factor can not give a birth. If the doctor assume the Rhesus factor incompatibility – it is necessary to do appropriate serum vaccination, and consequently to stop antibodies generation in the blood. Also after abortion and miscarriage it is mandatory to do inoculation, because it is possible that the embryo blood mix with mother’s blood, which later on can harm the next baby.
